Practical on how data management is processed in connection to treatments
When you contact us, book an appointment or visit us for a treatment, you provide information about yourself. Here is a more practical description of how we handle your data.
When booking an appointment with us, a registration takes place in our booking system. The booking is made on site at the clinic, by phone or online by yourself. For the booking, you need your name, email, and phone number. The site uses cookies to handle information.
When you come to us for an examination, treatment, course or coaching, we usually keep a record of your visit, including a memo, journal, or anamnesis.
As non-licensed staff, there is no legal requirement that we keep medical records. However, we usually hold some form of journal, anamnesis or notes of examination/treatment.
The first time a customer visits us for an examination, treatment, workshop or coaching, they are asked to fill in forms that can include contact information, information about how they found us, health questions, well-being questions, and, anamnesis questions. These questions are for being able to create a treatment plan and fullfill provided sercice. All forms are saved in an archive that only the treating therapist has access to.
In our forms, you need to provide address information. This information is used to write invoices, cash invoices or receipts. The data can also be used to send a desired product if necessary.
In our forms, you can state your occupation voluntarily. This is primarily so that we can get an overall picture of you in terms of treatment. For example, if you work as a programmer, it can give us a clue that your working posture may be causing problems with your back.
We ask questions about your health condition. This is to determine whether there is any direct or indirect contraindication for treatment.
We ask questions about well-being. For example, do you have a stomachache? If so, how often and how strongly? This allows us to follow up on whether your problems have decreased at the return visit. Answering these questions is voluntary.
When taking anamnesis, we use it to create a treatment plan.
When you pay, we need your data to issue an invoice, cash invoice, or receipt, and fullfil legal responsibilities.
