Safeguard Policy

This document provides clients with details about the precautionary policies for airborne infections. It contains instructions for clients on steps to take before and after their visit to reduce the rate of transmission during flu season. The intention is to inform clients considering treatment that health and safety measures are being followed.

Infection Control Procedures
For individuals with an airborne infection, a remote consultation can be arranged as an alternative to in-person attendance.
Remote consultation can be arranged for clients in a high-risk category, including those aged 65 and older, immunocompromised persons, or individuals with significant heart, respiratory, kidney, liver conditions, or clients who care for someone who is at high risk.

Standard precautions for all clients
Wipe your shoes on the sanitiser mat when entering.
Clean your hands with alcohol sanitiser or soap and water upon entering and leaving the clinic.
Do not enter the clinic space if you suspect you have caught an airborne infection.

Room Cleaning
Following each patient’s departure, a minimum interval of 10 minutes will be observed to facilitate adequate air exchange and prevent patient overlap. During this period, windows will be opened, and all frequently touched surfaces will be meticulously cleaned.
The convenience room is checked in between clients and thoroughly cleaned at least once every day.
Rooms are vacuumed and mopped on all clinic open days.

Waiting room
Patients should arrive no more than 10 minutes before their appointment; arriving earlier may mean waiting outside or in the car.
Only patients may enter unless a carer, guardian, or chaperone is needed for medical reasons.
We respectfully ask clients to remain in the designated waiting areas while awaiting their appointment. In addition to the waiting room, the garden is available for your use as a space for relaxation.

Treatment approach
Our treatments do not focus on treating diseases or targeting specific symptoms but instead view a person as a combination of body, soul, and spirit, considering how each aspect influences the others.  In our approach, we consider spiritual dimensions of human existence, which may include a belief in reincarnation and karma.
Thus, we look at and treat the client’s problems as an expression of imbalance in the whole person and his life, not just as a deviation from the normal biological state.

Complementary medicine does not replace ordinary medical care, and we reserve the right to refuse treatment if there is a suspicion that this service may impair the client’s general condition.
