Your Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology Study Pathway

Study Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology™ with Mervin Wilk at Heart of Mervin on Orust. Begin with Kineasy, build your practical skills across the core courses and, if you choose, continue towards practitioner certification.

Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology™ (EMK) is a deeply intuitive, heart-centred modality created by Denise Robinson of By The Bay Kinesiology®. It brings together Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts, emotional exploration, metaphysical insight and muscle reflex testing to explore what may support each person’s balance and wellbeing.

I keep my Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology courses to a maximum of six participants so I can offer personal guidance, individual feedback and plenty of supported practical training.

Your Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology study pathway: from Kineasy to certification

1. Begin with Kineasy

Kineasy Intro Course welcomes beginners and introduces muscle testing, client connection and a complete mini balance. No previous Kinesiology training is required.

2. Explore the core courses

After Kineasy, study Five Elements and Chakra Healing. Five Elements prepares you for Meridian; Chakra Healing prepares you for Transpersonal Chakra and Aura Balancing.

3. Complete practitioner certification

Before starting Denise Robinson’s Practitioner Certification Training Program, attend one course from each of the three prerequisite levels:

  • Step 1 — Beginner: Kineasy Intro Course.
  • Step 2 — Intermediate: Mastery of the Five Elements OR Chakra Healing Kinesiology.
  • Step 3 — Advanced: Meridian Rivers of Chi Kinesiology OR Transpersonal Chakra Kinesiology OR Aura Balancing Kinesiology.

You do not need to have attended all six core courses before starting the practitioner program. To receive your final Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology Practitioner qualification, you must successfully complete all six core courses (198 hours) and the practitioner program (80 hours), totalling 278 hours, including all required assessments.

Individual course case studies and homework assessments do not have to be finished before enrolling in or attending Denise’s practitioner program. They must be completed successfully before you receive your final practitioner qualification.

See Denise’s current prerequisite and certification requirements and the official Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology FAQs when planning your studies.

Final online certification program: 2027 dates awaiting confirmation. Denise Robinson delivers this program separately through By The Bay Kinesiology®. Read about the final program and check the provider’s current dates and fees before booking.

A professional future with Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology

Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology can be a professional career choice. If you feel drawn to working with people, listening closely and supporting their wellbeing, the practitioner pathway offers a way to develop that interest into a professional practice. You may be considering a new direction, returning to work or adding Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology to an existing complementary practice.

After completing the required training, assessments and practitioner certification, you can work towards offering individual Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology sessions in person or online. Possibilities include building your own practice, sharing a wellbeing space with other practitioners or gradually developing a part-time practice alongside your current work. Your direction can grow with your experience, interests and circumstances.

Professional practice brings together practical skills, attentive client communication and the everyday work of running a business. The final certification program develops practitioner skills and business foundations. Building your own practice takes time, continued learning and relationships with clients; you can begin by exploring whether this way of working feels right for you.

You do not need to decide your whole future before starting. Kineasy gives you a first experience of the work, and I am happy to talk with you about your aims and the steps towards professional practice.

Learning at Heart of Mervin

I’m Mervin Wilk, your local Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology instructor. My teaching brings together explanations, demonstrations and supported practice. You will work with fellow participants and use the official course manuals as you build your understanding.

You can begin for personal learning or work towards the complete practitioner pathway. Attendance at an individual course does not by itself confer practitioner certification.

Support beyond the classroom

Your learning continues between course days. Alongside the official course manuals and follow-up talks, you will have access to extended filmed explanations and demonstrations in the student portal. These give you material to revisit as you practise, helping you work through techniques and ideas at your own pace.

You will also become part of the international Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology student page and community—a place to connect with fellow students, share the learning journey and feel part of the wider Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology network. Local teaching and practice with me are supported by this broader international connection.

Keep growing after qualification

Completing your practitioner training is the beginning of a new stage. As a qualified Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology practitioner, you can join Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology practitioner groups, stay connected with colleagues and continue developing your confidence and understanding.

There are also opportunities to deepen your learning through themed Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology masterclasses. These explore particular techniques, balancing approaches and emotional or metaphysical themes in greater depth, offering fresh areas to study as your practice develops. Explore the Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology masterclass programme for current topics, entry requirements and booking details.

After competent completion of all six courses and the final program, you are awarded certification as a Certified Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner. You can then apply for IICT practitioner membership and suitable insurance to practise Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology, subject to IICT’s eligibility rules and the requirements where you live.
