Switch Off and Sleep workshop theme

A quieter transition from doing to resting

You may feel tired while your mind is still working through tomorrow’s tasks or replaying the day. This workshop offers an unhurried setting to explore that transition, without making sleep another task to get right.

We consider the rhythms around bedtime, the comfort of your surroundings and how you might set responsibilities aside for the evening. There is space to notice what is realistic in your life, including work and caring commitments.

What to expect from Switch Off & Sleep

  • A welcoming introduction to the theme and time to arrive.
  • Guided reflection on evening habits, unfinished tasks and what helps you feel ready to rest.
  • Accessible Eurythmy-based movement and body-awareness exercises.
  • Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology-based wellbeing practices adapted for a small group.
  • Exploring a realistic wind-down routine, quieter activities and a comfortable sleeping environment.

You can take part at your own pace, with seated or standing movement options and time to rest. Sharing is optional; you are just as welcome to listen and reflect privately. No previous experience of Kinesiology or Eurythmy is needed.

Your own evening rhythm

You will create a small wind-down plan to try at home. This might include putting tomorrow’s tasks on paper earlier in the evening, making time for a quiet activity or reviewing late caffeine and screen habits. We focus on a manageable routine and a regular waking time, rather than forcing yourself to sleep.

You can take home a personal action list and gentle practices to explore at your own pace. Everyone’s sleep is different, and the workshop does not promise a particular night’s result.

Your personal balancing spray

You will receive a personally prepared balancing spray, created around the Switch Off & Sleep theme. It offers a reminder of the intentions and practices you explored together.

Your personal balancing spray is included in the 650 kr workshop price and is valued at 275 kr.

I explain its ingredients and use, and you are welcome to discuss any sensitivities with me.

Before you come

Each workshop can be enjoyed on its own, so you are welcome to choose the theme that speaks to you. These gatherings are for adults and are an introduction to personal wellbeing practices, rather than practitioner training.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring a notebook if you like to write things down. Please contact me before booking if you would like to discuss access, movement adaptations, language or sensitivity to scents and ingredients. We can consider what will help you take part comfortably.

Inspired by the Mind, Body, Soul Wellbeing Workshop series developed by Denise Robinson, founder of Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology™. I bring these themes together with my own experience in Eurythmy-based movement, reflection and education.

This is an educational wellbeing workshop, not a treatment for insomnia or another sleep disorder. If sleep difficulties persist or affect daily life, please seek medical advice. The workshop can sit alongside appropriate care.
