These booking terms apply to in-person Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology (EMK) courses booked with Mervin Wilk / Heart of Mervin. Please read them together with the course description and our Terms of Purchase. Workshops, starter kits and other products are not covered by this course-specific page.
Course booking terms: venue and attendance
Courses take place at Söbben 124, 473 91 Henån, Sweden. The product page states the dates, times, prerequisites, total price and what is included. Please check these details before enrolling. Each course has a maximum of six participants.
Enrolment deposit and remaining payment
All prices below include 25% VAT. For a two-day course, the total fee is 5,400 kr: you pay a 1,500 kr enrolment deposit in the shop and the remaining 3,900 kr by Spiris invoice. For the complete four-day Meridian course, the total fee is 10,800 kr: you pay a 3,000 kr enrolment deposit and the remaining 7,800 kr by Spiris invoice.
Your deposit is part of the total course fee. The balance must reach our business account no later than 14 days before the first course day. The exact due date appears on the product page and invoice. The balance is not automatically charged to your card.
Online booking closes 14 days before the first course day. After that, call +46 73 920 73 59 to ask about available places. Any booking agreed 14 days or less before the course starts must be paid in full immediately.
Booking confirmation
Check your course, dates and contact details before paying. Your booking contract is formed when we confirm your order or booking by email. Contact us if the confirmation is missing or incorrect.
Your statutory right of withdrawal
For a distance booking, you generally have 14 days from entering into the contract to withdraw. This is counted from the booking, not backwards from the course start date. No cancellation or administration fee is charged when you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.
If a course begins during the withdrawal period, any request to begin early will be handled separately, with the information and consent required by law. Ticking the course-terms checkbox does not waive your statutory rights or request early performance.
To withdraw, use Withdraw from a purchase, or contact us by email, telephone or post. You do not have to use a particular form. See our Terms of Purchase for the full withdrawal and refund arrangements.
Cancellation after the withdrawal period
The following applies when the statutory right of withdrawal has expired or does not apply. Please notify us as soon as possible, preferably in writing to heartofmervin@gmail.com, giving your name, booking number and course.
More than 14 calendar days before the course starts: the cancellation charge is 1,500 kr per two-day course, or 3,000 kr for the complete four-day Meridian course. Any remaining payment is refundable, subject to the reasonable-cost provisions below.
Exactly 14 calendar days before the course, fewer than 14 days, or non-attendance: the charge may be up to the full course fee. There is no automatic right to transfer payment to a future course.
The deadline is calculated from the advertised start time of the first course day. For Meridian, the first day of the complete four-day course determines the deadline.
Cancellation charges must reflect reasonable preparation costs and lost income. Saved costs and the possibility of filling your place will be taken into account. The charge will be reduced if the compensable loss is lower and will not exceed the course price. You may request an explanation. Unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstances, such as illness preventing participation, will be assessed individually under applicable consumer rules. Any remaining amount paid will be refunded within 14 days after the charge is determined.
Your statutory right of withdrawal is not affected by these booking and cancellation terms and will always be honoured in accordance with applicable law.
If we cancel or change your course
Courses normally require at least four participants to run. If we cancel, we refund the full amount paid, including your deposit, or you may choose to transfer it to a new date. If we make a substantial change, such as changing the dates, we will inform you; if you do not accept it, you may cancel and receive a refund for the affected activity. Refunds will be made within 14 days of cancellation or your notification that you do not accept the change.
Please contact us before making binding travel or accommodation bookings. Any claims for those costs will be assessed under applicable law.
Participation, materials and questions
Please read any entry requirements and practical instructions on the course page. Course materials are for your personal use and may not be distributed or sold without permission. Recordings are included only where expressly stated.
If the course differs from what was agreed, contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue. The general terms also explain complaints, refunds, personal data and dispute resolution. The terms in effect when you book apply to your booking; later changes do not apply retrospectively.
