Kinesiology & Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology Mentoring FAQs
Space to ask, reflect and grow in your work.
Whether you are studying Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology or already working with clients, you do not have to work out every question alone. Here I explain how mentoring can support your skills, confidence and the direction of your practice.
I welcome Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology students and qualified kinesiologists from different modalities, within my expertise. We begin with one session, then agree on further support individually.

01
Finding your starting point in mentoring
Support for the stage you are at, and the questions you bring.
What is Kinesiology and Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology mentoring?
It is individual time to look at your learning, client work and development as a practitioner. We bring practical questions and reflection together, whether you are trying to understand a technique, finding your confidence or considering the direction of your practice.
I begin by listening to what is happening for you. Together, we choose a useful focus and work towards a next step you can actually take. You do not need to arrive with everything neatly worked out.
Who is this mentoring for?
I welcome Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology students and qualified kinesiologists from different modalities, within my areas of expertise. You may be beginning your practical work, returning after a break or already established and wanting another perspective.
Please tell me about your training and what you would like help with. If your question concerns a method I do not teach or practise, I will be honest about that and suggest that you speak with the relevant instructor.
Do I need a particular problem, or can I come to develop my practice?
Both are welcome. You can bring a moment in a session where you felt unsure, or a broader question about the practitioner you would like to become. Mentoring is also a place to recognise what is working and build on it.
If you have several ideas, we can sort through them together and decide which would make the most useful starting point. There is no need to wait until you feel stuck.
Will you help me find my own way of working?
Yes. We look at your strengths, experience and interests, alongside the responsibilities of your role. I can share another perspective without expecting you to become a copy of me.
Your style develops through practice, reflection and clear choices about what you offer. We can explore what feels natural to you, where further learning would help and how to keep your work both personal and professional.
How many sessions should I book?
Begin with one session, then we agree on any further meetings individually. One focused conversation may be enough to help you move forward. Other questions benefit from time to practise and return with fresh observations.
We choose the spacing around your learning, client work and circumstances. There is no fixed series you need to commit to before we have met.
02
Skills and session flow
Bringing what you know into a clearer, more confident practice.
Can we revisit muscle testing or an Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology technique?
Yes. We can review material you have already studied, look at the steps you find uncertain and consider how you explain the process to a client. Please bring your own relevant manual or notes so we can work from the training you have received.
Mentoring can support practice and understanding, but it does not replace a course or qualify you in a new modality. Where a technique needs direct practical instruction, we discuss an appropriate way to address that.
What if I lose my way during a balance?
We can look back at a specific example: the original focus, the point where things became unclear and what you did next. This often makes the question more manageable than trying to review every technique at once.
We may work on keeping a clear session structure, explaining a pause, returning to the agreed focus or recognising when to stop and seek further guidance. You do not need to force an answer simply to keep a session moving.
Can mentoring help me listen and ask better questions?
Yes. We can practise how you open a conversation, clarify what a client means and agree on a focus without putting words into their mouth. Sometimes allowing a little more time or asking one simpler question makes a difference.
The client remains the person who gives meaning to their own experience. We can explore how to offer a reflection as a possibility, check whether it fits and make room for them to disagree.
Can we work on explaining Kinesiology clearly to clients?
Absolutely. We can practise an explanation that sounds like you and makes the purpose, process and limits of your work understandable. We look at what someone needs to know before choosing to take part.
For example, we can distinguish muscle responses interpreted within an energetic framework from a medical diagnosis. A response does not prove a deficiency, uncover a reliable hidden memory or establish that a particular treatment is needed.
Can I combine Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology with other approaches I have studied?
We can discuss how your existing skills fit together and how to make the choices clear to a client. The starting point is what you are trained and competent to offer, with appropriate consent and within your professional and insurance arrangements.
More techniques are not always more helpful. Sometimes a simpler, well-explained approach gives a session better focus. For modality-specific requirements, we return to the relevant training provider.
03
Clients and professional boundaries
Thoughtful reflection, with respect for the people you support.
Can I discuss a client session that felt difficult?
Yes. Bring an anonymised account and the question you want to explore. We can consider the session structure, communication, your decisions and what you might approach differently next time.
Please leave out names and details that could identify the person. Mentoring focuses on your practice; it is not an assessment of an absent client or a way to diagnose them through someone else’s account.
What if a client becomes upset or the situation feels beyond my skills?
We can reflect on how to recognise your limits, respond calmly, respect the client’s wishes and avoid pushing for further disclosure. Knowing when to pause and seek appropriate support is part of responsible practice.
Mentoring is not an emergency service or a substitute for specialist training. A client’s medical or mental health needs belong with appropriately qualified professionals; we can discuss how to communicate that boundary with care.
Can you help with consent, boundaries and difficult conversations?
Yes. We can look at how you explain a proposed technique, check that the client wants to continue and respond when they decline. We can also practise conversations about time, fees, cancellations and contact between appointments.
Clear boundaries can be kind. The aim is for the client to understand their choices and for you to work within an arrangement you can sustain.
Is there room for my wellbeing as a practitioner?
Very much so. We can talk about the pace of your work, how sessions affect you and what helps you feel present. Your own need for rest, support and time away from client work matters.
Together, we can consider practical changes such as breaks, preparation time or clearer availability. If a client’s story touches something personal, we can recognise that and consider the support you need rather than expecting you to carry it alone.
What if I feel unsure of myself or notice no change after a session?
You are welcome to bring that honestly. We can separate your observations from assumptions about what you should have achieved, review the choices you made and identify something useful to learn.
Confidence grows alongside a realistic understanding of your limits. A client’s experience should not be turned into a promise of results or a reason to keep adding sessions without a clear purpose.
04
Learning and certification
Clear distinctions between support, assessment and renewal.
Can mentoring help me with Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology practice cases and coursework?
Yes. We can clarify a concept, work through your understanding of the session sequence and discuss how to reflect on practice cases. Bring the relevant task and your own attempt, with all client details removed.
The learning and assessment remain yours. I can help you understand the work and reflect on your own attempt, while you complete your answers and case studies yourself. We follow the requirements of your course and its assessment process.
Does mentoring replace training or qualify me to practise?
No. Mentoring supports the training and experience you already have. It does not replace required courses, practical work, proficiency assessments or the steps needed for professional certification.
If you are studying, we work within your stage of learning. Becoming more confident in a mentoring session does not by itself give permission to offer a technique professionally.
Is this the same as Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology practitioner recertification?
No. Ordinary mentoring is a separate appointment for your development. Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology practitioner recertification is a dedicated two-hour session, including 60 minutes of practical demonstration and 60 minutes of mentoring.
My recertification session fee is 1,900 kr, with a separate renewal administration fee paid to By The Bay Kinesiology®. Please use the Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology recertification page for the current preparation and booking arrangements. An ordinary mentoring appointment does not automatically renew your certification.
Can mentoring count towards professional development or supervised hours?
This depends on the rules of your training provider, association or registration body. Some distinguish between discussing a session and directly observing practice, and some require an approved mentor or supervisor.
Please check their requirements before booking if you need formal credit. We can clarify the purpose and what documentation is needed, but I do not promise recognition by every organisation.
05
Developing your practice
A direction that fits your skills, values and everyday life.
Can we discuss starting a practice or returning after a break?
Yes. We can take stock of your training, current confidence and practical questions, then identify a realistic starting point. Returning may mean refreshing a skill, revisiting a session structure or clarifying the support you need before seeing clients again.
For a new practice, we can also look at the client experience from the first enquiry through to follow-up. Qualifications, insurance and any local requirements need to be checked with the relevant bodies.
Can you help me describe my services and communicate about my work?
We can look at how you explain your approach in conversation or in a short service description. We consider who you hope to work with, what you actually offer and how to make the practical details easy to understand.
The aim is language that feels true to you, with realistic expectations and clear limits. We can discuss a website paragraph or an idea for a post without assuming that louder promises will make your work more valuable.
Can we explore a new idea, workshop or direction?
Yes. Bring the idea, even if it is still taking shape. We can consider what it is for, who it may suit, what you are qualified to offer and a manageable way to begin.
We also look at the time and preparation involved. Teaching a method or sharing its course materials may require permission or instructor training; mentoring does not grant that permission.
Can we discuss fees, working hours and the practical organisation of a clinic?
Yes. We can reflect on whether your session length, preparation time, availability and service descriptions fit together. A clear booking process and realistic workload can make your practice easier for you and your clients to navigate.
I offer practical reflection from my experience, not a promise of income or a ready-made business formula. Questions about tax, contracts or specific legal obligations belong with the appropriate professional adviser.
How do we turn ideas into progress between meetings?
Before we finish, we choose a small number of useful next steps. This might be practising an explanation, reviewing a familiar technique or making one part of your client process clearer.
At a follow-up, we look at what you tried and what happened, including anything that did not help. We can adjust the plan rather than add more tasks. The purpose is steady development that fits your life.
06
Sessions and practical details
What to expect and how to arrange our time together.
What happens at the first appointment, and what should I prepare?
We begin with your training, current stage of practice and the questions you bring. Together, we choose a focus and make room for conversation, reviewing material or a practical demonstration where suitable.
Bring a few notes and an anonymised example if there is a session you would like to discuss. There is no need to prepare a presentation. We finish by gathering the main points and agreeing on a useful next step.
Do sessions take place online, and can we review practical work?
Individual mentoring takes place online via Zoom. Choose a quiet, private space and have your materials nearby. If you want to demonstrate a technique, tell me beforehand so we can agree on what is practical and appropriate online.
You do not need to arrange a client or volunteer for an ordinary mentoring conversation. Any observed practice with another person needs prior agreement and their informed consent. Some practical skills are better reviewed in direct training.
Are manuals, materials or portal access included?
We can talk about the resources that support your particular question. Please bring any manuals or notes from the training you have completed, and we can identify what may be helpful to revisit.
Individual mentoring does not include a set of manuals or a separate portal login. If another resource may help, I will explain how you can access it and whether it has a separate cost. Access to Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology course materials follows the course arrangements.
How long are mentoring sessions, and what do they cost?
An initial session is 90 minutes and costs 1,500 kr. A follow-up is 60 minutes and costs 1,200 kr. Prices are in Swedish kronor.
These are the fees for individual mentoring. Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology practitioner recertification has its own format and fee, as explained above.
Are appointments available now, and how do I book?
Individual appointments are currently paused, with reopening planned for 2027. Check future availability on the booking page. Choose Professional Mentoring, then Kinesiology & Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology Mentoring: Initial Session for our first meeting.
Choose an initial session for our first meeting. If you are unsure whether I can help with your question or modality, please contact me first. You can also check availability for a free 15-minute enquiry call via Zoom.
Are our conversations confidential?
I treat what you share with care and confidentiality, within applicable legal requirements. Please anonymise client examples and do not send identifiable case records or recordings without discussing the necessary arrangements first.
You are welcome to ask how to describe a situation without revealing the client’s identity. We usually need the question about your practice, rather than the person’s full history.
What if I need to change or cancel an appointment?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. With less notice, or for a missed appointment, the full session fee applies. Any deposit is non-refundable under my Terms of Service.
